Who are we?
Association Pour La Promotion De La Santé (APSA) Botswana is a non-profit organization (registered society CR 8175) which was established in Botswana in 2010 aimed at facilitating the education and awareness of Diabetes prevention and treatment.
Mission
Our mission as Apsa Botswana is to facilitate awareness and education about the growing crisis of diabetes and hypertension for the purpose of prevention and treatment by promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and providing resources that can help support those choices.
Vision
To see the people of Botswana empowered with the knowledge to take control of their health and make active choices to live a healthy lifestyle thus preventing the rise in the crisis of Non Communicable Diseases in the nation, especially Diabetes.

Our services are always available for free.
Screening and Testing
We provide diabetes screening in health events and corporate offices. This will lead to referrals where cases are high.
Media Production and Awareness
Over the years we have produced video content that engages the medical experts to educate Batswana. We interact with the public through testimonals aired on BTV and social media.
Educational health presentation
We work with different corporate companies and schools to present on food educaton and awareness on diabetes. We use relevant information for listeners to understand.
Non Communicable Disease Training
We conduct educational health workshops to different community based NGOs where we empower the health officers to educate the lower income communities.
